Volunteer

Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit.

- 1 Corinthians 12:4 -

God has given us all gifts that can be of great value to the local church body.

Those gifts often look different. Within the church body, there are needs for everything from teaching  adults to  serving in the nursery to helping with building and grounds to decorating for events to doing community outreach to bringing food for events to serving on the security team to helping out with the youth group.

Whatever we do, we do it as unto the Lord, and  together work as a single body.

Serving Follows in the Footsteps of the King

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

- Mark 10:45 -

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Just let us know you're interested in volunteering, including what sorts of opportunities you might be most interested in, and we'll go from there!

Are there any special requirements to volunteer with kids or youth?

To maintain a safe environment for both volunteers and kids, all volunteers must have attended the church for at least six months before volunteering with children or youth. In addition, all volunteers with minors must be screened, which includes undergoing a background check, providing references, doing MinistrySafe awareness training, and being interviewed by staff. The process can take as little as a week once the volunteer application is received.

Can I volunteer with music?

With a full choir and live instruments each Sunday, we love our singers and musicians and welcome more! Our Pastor of Worship, Scott Davis, will be keen to speak with you about how you might serve in our worship service.

Are there any opportunities for youth to volunteer?

Absolutely! Youth volunteers help each Sunday, and the youth group even put on our Fifth Sunday Fellowship in late July 2023.
